Join me on a quest to explore the potential that home-grown and sustainably sourced ingredients hold to elevate your cooking…to bring joy through creativity, hospitality, nourishment, and a connection to nature.
I’m building a 'no-dig' production garden and demonstration kitchen at home, with the long term goal of growing and sourcing exceptional ingredients to cook and share with others….
I’d love you to join me on the journey.
a Little about me
My life in food began at my mother’s side, where I helped her grow vegetables, we cooked, and ate from the countryside, and I learned to feed my insatiable appetite as I grew. A brief stint at The Tante Marie School of Cookery was followed by years of study and a fledgling career in Rural Property Management, but the call of the kitchen never left me—in fact, it grew, and when the chance arose, I jumped back in with both feet.
I’ve been blessed over the years to find happy places in food: running small off-beat supper clubs, curating and delivering bespoke private dining events, and working in Michelin-starred kitchens alongside culinary masters such as Pierre Koffmann, Tom Kitchin, Brett Graham, and Tom Aikens. I’ve led teams in delivering full-service hospitality in various exciting and, at times, challenging settings and used the same skills to quickly develop and manage large-scale food production to support the vulnerable during the early months of the Covid pandemic.
Throughout this journey, I’ve experienced moments of joy, beauty and the odd catastrophe, but ultimately, it’s the food – delicious food made with love – that’s inspired me, given me meaning and driven me on. I thrive on bringing people together, sharing knowledge, and constantly seeking new opportunities to learn and improve.
And now, our home and the land that surrounds it presents a unique opportunity to continue that learning – to grow, forage, hunt and cook (both indoors and out!), to share great food and connect.
Join me for the next adventure.
